Greenford Church of England VC Primary School

The Church of England

Christian Distinctiveness

As a Church Voluntary Controlled Primary School within the Diocese of Salisbury, Greenford Primary School works hard to develop and sustain the school’s Christian distinctiveness.

Our Headteacher and governing body have a clear vision of a school with a distinctive Christian character. Our Governing Body is made up of a majority of Foundation (Church) Governors. We work in partnership with The Rev Tim Greenslade and The Rev Linda Wilcock and the Church of St Mary’s.

Our School is founded upon our core values of:

Time is spent exploring what is distinctively Christian about these particular values.

We strive for excellent relationships making our school a harmonious and cohesive community – growing together and learning for life.

Collective Worship

We use ISing Pop's Collective Worship programme which invites our children to be reflective. There is a weekly theme which links our classroom worships together.

We also have a weekly Collective Worship from the Church of St Mary's. A group of children from across the school have previously gotten involved and helped Rev Tim plan and deliver Collective Worship.

Below are some images that two children chose for Collective Worship linked to Psalm 1 and our school vision.
